The bp Net Zero Scholarship 2022 supports young leaders who are committed to accelerating the global transition to net zero emissions. Open to students at any study level worldwide, this scholarship recognizes applicants who demonstrate innovative thinking and actionable solutions for climate challenges. It aligns with bp’s ambition to achieve net zero by 2050 or sooner while helping the world reach the same goal.
Applicants must be aged 18–30 and enrolled in or applying to any study level (undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral). The scholarship is open to all nationalities. Applicants should show leadership in sustainability, climate action, or related fields through projects, research, or initiatives.
There are no income or academic score requirements; selection is based on impact and potential.
Submit an application through the official One Young World platform before the deadline listed on their scholarship page. Include a personal statement (max 500 words) explaining your commitment to net zero and how you plan to contribute. Provide proof of enrollment or admission if applicable.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview or additional assessments.
