About the PTE
The test measures how well a candidate can understand, interpret, and use English in real-life academic and professional situations. The Reading section checks comprehension of written texts, the Writing section evaluates the ability to produce clear and structured written English, and the Speaking section assesses spoken fluency and pronunciation. Passing this test helps universities and employers verify that a student’s English meets the required standards for study or work.
