The Emile-Boutmy scholarship supports outstanding international students from outside the European Union who wish to study at Sciences Po in France. Named after the institution’s founder, this merit-based award helps cover tuition fees for undergraduate and master’s programmes. Recipients are selected based on academic excellence and alignment with Sciences Po’s admissions priorities and programme requirements.
Applicants must be first-time students from a non-EU country whose household does not file taxes in the EU. They must be admitted to an undergraduate or master’s programme at Sciences Po. Students from EU countries or those already enrolled at Sciences Po are ineligible.
Selection is competitive and based on academic merit and programme fit.
Apply for admission to Sciences Po first, as the scholarship is only available to admitted students. After receiving an offer, submit the Emile-Boutmy scholarship application through the Sciences Po student portal by the specified deadline. Include required documents, such as academic transcripts and proof of non-EU residency.
