The Global Korea Scholarship 2022 is a fully-funded program offered by the Korean government to support international students, including Indians, in pursuing higher education in South Korea. The scholarship covers tuition, living costs, and airfare, enabling students to immerse themselves in Korea’s education system and culture. It is open to applicants at all levels of study, from undergraduate to doctoral programs.
Applicants must be Indian citizens, hold at least a bachelor’s degree for graduate studies, and be under 40 years of age. The scholarship is open to all academic disciplines and does not impose income or mark-based restrictions. Priority may be given to candidates with Korean language proficiency or prior ties to Korea, though this is not mandatory.
Interested candidates must apply through the official Korean government portal listed on the scholarship page. The application requires academic transcripts, proof of citizenship, a study plan, recommendation letters, and a health certificate. Shortlisted applicants may undergo further interviews or document verification.
