International Association of Emergency Managers-IAEM Scholarships

The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) Scholarships support students worldwide pursuing associate, diploma, baccalaureate, or graduate degrees in emergency management, disaster management, or closely related fields. Established to strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience, the program identifies and develops students with the intellectual and technical skills needed to advance the profession. By funding education in these critical areas, IAEM helps build a more capable and resilient workforce to address emergencies and disasters globally.

Open to students at all study levels—associate, diploma, bachelor’s, or master’s—enrolled in emergency management, disaster management, or a closely related program. Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited institution. There are no restrictions based on nationality, income, or academic marks.

Priority may be given to students demonstrating a commitment to the field through coursework, research, or practical experience.

Submit a completed application form along with required documents such as academic transcripts, a resume, and a personal statement outlining your interest and experience in emergency management. Include two letters of recommendation from faculty or professionals familiar with your work. Ensure all materials are submitted by the deadline listed on the official IAEM scholarship page.
