The Justus and Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships at TU Delft support outstanding international students applying to any two-year master’s programme. The scholarship covers full tuition fees for candidates who demonstrate exceptional academic performance. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a globally recognized university outside the Netherlands, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 80 percent of the scale maximum.
This merit-based award aims to attract top talent to TU Delft’s research-intensive programmes.
Open to international students conditionally admitted to a two-year Regular MSc programme at TU Delft. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a non-Dutch university with a minimum GPA of 80 percent of the scale maximum. The scholarship is not need-based; selection is purely on academic merit.
Priority may be given to candidates from top-ranked global institutions.
Submit the scholarship application form available on the official TU Delft website alongside your MSc programme application. Ensure all required documents, including academic transcripts and proof of English proficiency, are uploaded by the stated deadline. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
