The STIBET Scholarships for International Students support those in the final phase of their degree programme at the University of Oldenburg, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). These scholarships assist international students who are close to completing their studies and need financial help during the final months. The funding is designed to cover basic living costs while students focus on finishing their thesis or dissertation.
Open to international students at the University of Oldenburg expected to graduate in the summer semester 2019. Applicants must hold a valid residence permit for study purposes (§16). During the scholarship period, monthly income should not exceed 450 EUR.
Priority is given to students in the finishing phase of their degree programme.
