The Sussex India Scholarships support Indian students who want to study a taught Masters at the University of Sussex. It is open to self-funded applicants classified as overseas for fee purposes. The scholarship recognises academic merit and the potential to contribute to the Sussex community.
Applicants must hold an offer for an eligible Masters programme before applying. The scheme is run by Sussex India and is intended for new postgraduates starting their studies in the relevant academic year.
You can apply if you are an Indian national, classified as overseas for fee purposes, and self-financing. You must already hold an unconditional or conditional offer for an eligible Sussex Masters course. You are not eligible if you already hold another Sussex scholarship or if your programme is excluded.
The scholarship is not restricted by income, caste, or disability category.
Apply online through the Sussex scholarships portal after you receive an offer. Provide your student ID, programme details, and a short statement outlining your academic achievements and how you will contribute to Sussex life. The portal will ask for supporting documents such as degree certificates and English-language proof.
