The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) Program

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) program is a prestigious international scholarship designed to attract and support highly qualified doctoral students for research in Canada. Each Vanier CGS is valued at $50,000 per year for up to three years during doctoral studies.

Candidates must first secure a nomination from a Canadian university that has been allocated a Vanier CGS quota. The nominated student then prepares a complete application, including research proposals, academic transcripts, reference letters, and a leadership statement.
