The University of British Columbia – Future Forests Fellowship supports exceptional Indian doctoral students pursuing forestry research at UBC. This four-year award covers research expenses and recognizes leadership and academic excellence. Candidates must meet UBC’s English language requirements and show strong research potential in forestry sciences.
The fellowship aims to foster global collaboration while advancing sustainable forest management solutions.
Open to Indian citizens applying for a PhD in forestry at the University of British Columbia. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic records and research potential. Meeting UBC’s English language proficiency standards is mandatory.
There are no income or caste-based restrictions for this international fellowship.
Apply through the UBC Faculty of Forestry’s graduate admissions portal. Submit academic transcripts, research proposals, and two letters of recommendation. Include a statement of purpose highlighting leadership and scholarly achievements.
