The World Nomads Travel Writing Scholarship supports postgraduate students who want to develop their travel-writing skills and share their travel experiences. It is for writers at an advanced academic level who are serious about building a career in travel writing or improving their storytelling abilities. The scholarship provides mentorship from established travel authors and a platform to publish travel stories, helping writers gain recognition in the industry.
Open to postgraduate students from any country. Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in travel writing, either through published work, a travel journal, or a portfolio of writing samples. There are no restrictions based on nationality, income, or academic marks.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to communicate fluently in English.
Submit a travel story of up to 1,000 words along with a short biography and a writing sample. Include a statement explaining your interest in travel writing and how this scholarship will help you develop your skills. Applications must be sent through the official scholarship page before the listed deadline.
Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
