The Catherine McAuley Scholarship supports international undergraduate students enrolling in any ACU degree except Theology at the Brisbane campus. Established in 2006 by the Sisters of Mercy in Queensland, the scholarship honours Sister Catherine McAuley, founder of the Sisters of Mercy, and recognises the legacy of McAuley College. It is awarded to first-year students in the Faculties of Health Sciences, Education and Arts, or Law and Business.
The scholarship aims to assist students who demonstrate academic potential and a commitment to their chosen field of study.
Open to international students entering the first year of an undergraduate degree at ACU’s Brisbane campus. Applicants must enrol in a program within the Faculties of Health Sciences, Education and Arts, or Law and Business, excluding Theology. There are no stated income or academic mark thresholds; selection is based on the application statement and supporting documentation.
Submit an online application through the ACU scholarship portal before the closing date listed on the official page. Attach a written statement of approximately 100 words explaining your choice of course and how the scholarship will support your studies. No additional forms or references are required unless specified in the application instructions.
