University of Sydney Humanitarian High Achiever Scholarship

The University of Sydney Humanitarian High Achiever Scholarship supports Indian students who are asylum seekers or refugees. Established in 2019 through an anonymous donation, the scholarship assists these students in pursuing undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney. It recognizes academic merit while addressing the unique challenges faced by humanitarian entrants in accessing higher education.

Applicants must be commencing an undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney. They must have completed an Australian Year 12 program or equivalent in the year prior to starting their studies. Applicants must also have lived in Australia for at least 12 months before beginning their course.

Priority is given to students of asylum seeker or refugee status.

Submit an application through the University of Sydney’s scholarship portal. Include proof of asylum seeker or refugee status, academic transcripts, and evidence of residency in Australia for the required period. Ensure all documents are certified and meet the university’s submission guidelines before the deadline.
