Arts University Bournemouth

Established in 1883, Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) has a rich history that traces back to the founding of Bournemouth's first art school in 1880. Despite initial challenges leading to closure in 1890, AUB's legacy persisted through the transfer of students to Bournemouth West School of Science and Art. Through subsequent mergers and evolution, the institution transformed into the esteemed Arts University Bournemouth we know today.

Attaining university status in 2012, AUB stands as a beacon of creativity, offering over 30 programs spanning architecture, film, design, fine arts, photography, and performance at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. Committed to accessibility, AUB provides evening, weekend, and summer courses catering to diverse learners, including working professionals, further enriching its vibrant academic community.
