Careers at Asia Pacific International College
The Analytics and AI specialisation within the Bachelor of Business (BBus) degree aims to develop and enhance students’ conceptual and practical understanding of data analytics and artificial intelligence in the contemporary business context. Students will have an opportunity to immerse themselves in problem-solving activities requiring lateral and critical thinking by exploring structured and unstructured data, considering and applying the appropriate analytic and artificial intelligence techniques and visualisation tools and approaching organisational problems through data-driven decision-making processes.
Students commencing the BBus course from Trimester 3 2025 onwards are required to complete their program as set out in the current BBus Course Structure and have the option to undertake specific elective units and graduate with a specialisation in Analytics and AI.
Students who commenced the BBus course on or before Trimester 2 2025 are required to complete their program as set out in this legacy Course Structure.
To qualify for the award, students are required to successfully complete the sixteen (16) core units listed below, plus eight (8) electives from the provided options. This totals to 24 units which is equivalent to 144 credit points.
*A unit worth 6 credit points is equal to 0.125 Equivalent Full-Time Student Load (EFTSL).
