Established in 1971, Cambridge College emerged from a vision to empower working adults with accessible higher education opportunities. Initially known as The Institute of Open Education within Newton College of the Sacred Heart, it later transitioned to become an integral part of the Antioch University Network before attaining independent non-profit status in 1981.
