CIHEAM Montpellier

The required level of admission is a minimum of 4 years of studies after the Baccalaureate (equivalent to 240 ECTS) in the fields of economics, human sciences or agronomy.Professional experience is taken into account.

A selection committee, composed of the CIHEAM Montpellier teacher-researchers, examines the applications and ranks them according to the quality of the applications (grades obtained, academic achievements, skills acquired, etc.).

Applicants meeting the required academic criteria are invited to selection interviews, which may be conducted in person or remotely, depending on the chosen Master’s programme and the candidate’s country of origin.

Following the interviews, some candidates from the waiting list may be invited to attend according to the number of places available. Invitation letters are sent out in June.

In case of withdrawal, new candidates from the waiting list are offered a place.

Depending on your level in the two fields indicated below, you may have to follow prerequisite courses before the beginning of the academic year:

French for CGAT, CDVALES and ECODEVA Masters, knowledge of the French language is required since all courses are taught in French. No student who is completely new to the French language will be accepted for one of these Masters.

English for the MIDAS Master: knowledge of the English language is required since all courses are taught in English. No student who is completely new to the English language will be accepted for this Master.
