Columbia College

Columbia College is an independent, not-for-profit college and it is founded in the belief that all members of the College contribute to its success. Since 1936, the College has helped students find their voices with confidence by supporting them as they explore the ideas and tools that will help shape their future.

As a registered charity, the College invests all revenues and resources into education. The College is able to provide the students with the support they need to embrace the next steps of their future with greater understanding of themselves and the path ahead.

To equip students to become responsible global citizens who can communicate, think critically and make a positive impact in communities around the world.

Columbia College’s Associate Degree Programs are approved by the BC Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills under the Degree Authorization Act (B.C. Reg. 405/2003), ensuring compliance with all mandated security requirements.The College’s Senior Secondary Program is certified by the BC Ministry of Education Skills and Training, adhering to regulations under the Independent School Act (B.C. Reg. 262/89).

Columbia College operates as a Non-Profit Society under the Societies Act of British Columbia and is recognized as a registered charity by the Canadian Revenue Agency.
