Which documents do I need while applying to EURECOM?
When applying to EURECOM, all international students must be prepared with the following set of documents:
- Statement of purpose / motivation letter (2 pages maximum)

STEP 1: ONLINE REGISTRATION
- Create an online account on the online application form

STEP 2: SELECTION AND ADMISSION
- Candidates will be informed via their personal online dashboard about the status of their
application and the date of result publication. - The Admission Committee is made of professors involved in the program. The following criteria
are assessed: reputation of the home university, student's academic performance and ranking,
relevance of the course content of the previous degree, letters of recommendation from referees). - Candidates are informed by email of the Admission Committee’s decision.
- Admitted candidates receive an email with a pre-admission letter and a pre-admission document
to be signed and sent back to EURECOM Admission Office
STEP 3: CONFIRMATION
- Admitted students have to confirm their admission by paying a 1000€ deposit. The deposit will be
deducted from the overall tuition fees. - Please note that a 10% discount on the overall tuition fee is offered to the applicant that pay
the deposit in the 30 days following the reception of the pre admission letter. - Admitted Students are required to send the all the documents required.
STEP 4. FINAL REGISTRATION
- The registration is confirmed upon receipt of the deposit and documents.
- A final registration letter is sent to the applicant. The admitted student will be provided with an
access to an online accommodation platform and useful information about daily life in France.
Does EURECOM offer scholarships to international students?

What is the eligibility criteria for scholarships at EURECOM?
EURECOM has a three-point eligibility criteria for both the scholarships offered to the students.
Carnot TSN Excellence Scholarship Program:
1) Candidate must be holding a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, etc.) from a recognised top university :
- must appear in one of the international ranking list: THE, QS, ARWU
- or in Top 50 Chinese Universities according to ARWU, Top 50 Indian engineering colleges or universities (NIRF India)
- Depending on the case, top universities of the country appearing in THE, QS, ARWU, CS Ranking, Scimago by subject : Computer Science and ICT; or Location: Asia or Latin America ranking or in QS BRICS, Asia, Latin America, Arab Region or EECA (Emerging Europe and Central Asia) ranking
2) Candidates must hold a minimum overall GPA score of 3.5/4 or belong to the top 10% of their graduating class
3) Be research-driven: Candidates must be able to demonstrate their appetite to undertake a PhD after the Master (a short letter explaining the motivation for research and possible topic will be required)

6G Excellence Scholarship Program:
1) Candidates must be holding a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, etc.) from a recognised top university:

What are EURECOM's double degree programs?
EURECOM allows their master degree students to spend the 2nd year of their MsC in one of the institution's member university and get a double degree. For now, EURECOM has signed double degree agreements with Aalto University (in Mobile Computing Systems and Data Science), Chalmers (Mobile Computing Systems) and Czech Technical University (in Mobile Computing Systems and Internet of Things). This double degree programme was started in 2019 and has been continuing ever since.
Once recruited, if a master student of EURECOM is interested in applying to any double degree master program, it is fundamental to contact the institution’s department of international relations on arrival (during the 1st semester) to be informed about the requirements and deadlines. The Double degree master program is exclusively open to students who follow a 4 semester’s master programme in IoT, Mobile Computing or Data Science.
The selection of the candidates is based on previous academic background, motivation and the average grade of the first academic year at EURECOM (a minimum grade in some technical courses can be required). Also, it is mandatory to validate the 60 ECTS of the 1st year to be eligible. The final decision is taken by the host institution in accordance with the coordinator of EURECOM’s Master. Also, there are no additional tuition fees to be paid for a double degree program.
