Once you have determined your preferred site for study abroad, you should apply to only that program. If you apply to one site in one country and later change your mind on where you prefer to study, you may contact our office to modify your location. If you are applying to one location for the fall and another for the spring, please should complete two applications.

Middlebury College offers need-based financial aid for study abroad to Middlebury College undergraduates only.

If you are a student from a college or university other than Middlebury, you may apply for a $4,000 Cason Scholarship. If you are a non-Middlebury students who attends both a summer Language School and a Middlebury C.V. Starr semester abroad in the same academic year, you are eligible for a discount of $3,000.

September 15 for programs in France, Italy, Japan, Spain, and Oxford

We will consider late applications if space is available, provided that visa deadlines (where applicable) can be met. Once the deadline has passed, students will not be able to access the application without first calling our office at (802) 443-5745.
