Milwaukee School of Engineering was first established by Oscar Widerwath in the year 1903 and was initially called the School of Engineering. The first classes of the university had started in 1903 itself at the Rheude's Business College. By the year 1920, the school had consisted of four specific programs that were mostly surrounding electricity.
