New Jersey Institute of Technology Eligibility Criteria

For Admission to NJIT, you would need to provide the following documents along with your application.

  • Valid passport
  • USA Student Visa
  • Proof of English Proficiency
  • A portfolio (for Architecture and Design Courses)
  • Standardised test scores such as the SAT or ACT
  • Proof of Finances

NJIT Undergraduate Requirements

A HSC or Class 12th Completion Certificate with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, OR, be among the top 25% of your class. Most courses ask for a valid SAT or ACT score. You're also free to submit additional qualifications like the International Baccalaureate, along with a Personal Essay, Letter of Recommendation, and a portfolio for Design and Architecture courses.

NJIT Graduate Requirements

A UG degree from a recognised Indian college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required. For Business programs, you would need to submit a valid score of either the GRE or GMAT test, along with transcripts evaluated by the NACES. The other requirements remain the same as in the case for admission to UG courses.
