About The College of Saint Rose
Established in 1920, the College of Saint Rose evolved into a renowned institution offering quality education across various disciplines. Initially focused on educating females in lucrative fields such as business, it transitioned to co-educational status in 1969 and went on to educate both male and female students across its 47 undergraduate and 20 master's programs.
Situated in Albany with convenient access to transportation hubs like the Albany International Airport and Amtrak station, the campus featured student-friendly amenities including health facilities and the Saint Rose bookstore. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1 and a robust financial aid program, the college maintained a commitment to academic excellence and accessibility.

Note: The Board of Trustees voted to cease operations, and the College of Saint Rose officially closed at the end of the 2023–2024 academic year in June 2024. Student academic records and transcripts have been transferred to the University at Albany (SUNY Albany).
