The University of Buckingham

Established in 1973, the University of Buckingham stands as one of the oldest private universities in the UK, receiving university status in 1983 through Royal Charter. A member of the Independent Universities Group, it has continually evolved to meet the demands of higher education. Notably, in response to increasing enrollments, the university expanded its faculty and introduced traditional degrees. In 2015, a significant milestone was achieved with the establishment of the University of Buckingham Medical School, offering undergraduate degrees in partnership with Milton Keynes University Hospital and Milton Keynes NHS Trust.
