Campus at University of Bologna
The Bologna campus is located at the heart of the city. The university consists of five campuses, Bologna Campus, Cesena Campus, Forlì Campus, Ravenna Campus and Rimini Campus. It consists of 31 departments and a few of the academic centers and institutes are the Advanced School of Studies on City and Territory, the Center for Advanced Studies in Tourism, the Alma Mater Institute on Healthy Planet and Public Sector Research and Training Centre. The university is also responsible for maintaining Orto Botanico di Bologna, one of the Europe’s oldest botanical gardens which was established in 1568.
According to the university, it has enrolled a total number of 96,945 students out of which 9,826 are international. The university covers a total space of one million square metres (around 247 acres). Along with the learning centers, the university also provides libraries, museums, health services, sports center and many more.
