E.R.S.U. and some partner providers offers to the Erasmus students the possibility to serch and book an accommodation. Moreover, the incoming students have the possibility to use the university canteen services. Please consult the link above to get detailed information.

Erasmus students can sign up for the integrated urban transport season ticket valid for three months at the discounted cost of 15 euros. To obtain the transport card, Erasmus students must contact the International Relations Unit to obtain additional information.

The IT Division University of Catania provides Erasmus incoming students with free WiFi account within the University of Catania structures and access to the students didactic platform (Studium Platform) and to laboratories. Please find here additional infos

According to Italian national regulations, the Prevention and Risk Protection division of the University of Catania provide information and/or training sessions on prevention and risk protection to all the Erasmus incoming students during the Welcome Day organized at central level or during specific sessions organized at department level. The health and safety information course at the University is available online within Smartedu student portal (login with Unict credentials). This compliance is mandatory by law and is also very useful for learning some simple measures of prevention and protection from risks in the university areas also depending on the different activities that each of you will have to carry out. The School of Italian Language and Culture is a Special Teaching Structure of the University of Catania to promote the historical and advanced knowledge of Italian Language and Culture for foreign students and workers. The courses offered to Erasmus incoming students are free of charges.

The Disability Advisory Centre (CINAP) of the University of Catania welcomes students with disability and specific learning difficulties (SpLDs). From 1999 it is committed to improve the access of both undergraduate and postgraduate students to their courses, facilities, buildings and social integration.
