University of Maryland Baltimore County

To enjoy UMBC campus life, students can participate in 270+ student clubs and organizations. There are 17 NCAA Division I athletic teams and 25+ clubs and intramurals. The athletic teams of UMBC are known as UMBC Retrievers. A few of the campus facilities that are available for students are:

• Dedicated student services at UMBC including an award-winning career center, academic support, and 24/7 academic support
• Doctor services, counselling, spiritual well-being and prayer spaces
• Restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance of campus
• The state-of-the-art fitness center has a gym, cycling studio, multi-purpose recreation courts, etc.
• International students can live on-campus while studying at UMBC. Students are required to fill the housing application. Students can live in the residence halls, apartments, and suites.

UMBC is located in Catonsville, Maryland. It is one of America’s top regions for technology, research, and commercial activity. The campus size is 500 acres. It is around 15 minutes away from downtown Baltimore and 45 minutes from Washington, D.C.
