Entry requirements for international students applying to the University of Massachusetts Amherst include:

• Undergraduate Admissions: Official secondary school (high school) transcripts with certified English translations, Secondary School Report, counselor recommendation letter, and teacher evaluation. Standardized test scores (SAT/ACT) are test-optional for undergraduate admission.
• Graduate Admissions: A recognized bachelor's degree from an accredited institution equivalent to a U.S. baccalaureate, official undergraduate and postgraduate academic transcripts, Statement of Purpose (SOP), letters of recommendation, and an updated CV/resume. GRE or GMAT scores may be required depending on the academic department. A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (85%) is required for graduate applicants.
• Application Documents: Copy of a valid passport identification page and official proof of financial support (bank statements and declaration of finances) required for F-1 visa issuance.
