University of Stuttgart

Indian students can apply for University of Stuttgart admissions via Campus Management Systems. Students are not charged an application fee for admission to the Uni of Stuttgart. For courses where German language proficiency is required, students have to submit test certificates like TestDAF, DSH, Goethe Certificate C1 or C2.

• Note for the courses that are taught in English, mainly the Master's, a proof of German language proficiency is not required. For those courses, students can submit TOEFL / IELTS with minimum scores, as specified.

• Studienkolleg (Preparatory Course) - In case the Foreign Diploma does not qualify for admission to study at a German University, a preparatory college can help you study at the University of Stuttgart. This is a two-semester course, and then students will have to appear for an assessment test. The students have to pass this test for admission to the University of Stuttgart. Note that the University of Stuttgart does not have its own preparatory college. So, as per the specialization, students shall be assigned to a preparatory studies college at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology or at the Ruprecht Karl University Heidelberg.

PG Admission Requirements

Indian students who wish to study in the PG courses of the Uni of Stuttgart have to submit a Bachelor's degree. Standardized test scores or any other course-specific may also be applicable.
