The University of Ulsan was established in 1970 by the esteemed late Asan Chung Ju-Yung, founder of the world-renowned Hyundai business group. Asan was one of the most prominent entrepreneurs in modern global history, a truly great man with a humble mind, and an educator who wanted to benefit the world with knowledge and education.
