In 1991, Vistula University was established as the University of Insurance and Banking. Then, in 1992, Vistula entered the register of non-public higher education institutions. Then, in 2012, the Academy of Finance was joined by Vistula University and at the same time, the Academy of Finance was renamed as Vistula University.
