All Undergraduate Admissions applications for the subsequent year Summer and Fall terms open on August 1, applications for the the subsequent year Spring term opens on February 1. Dates and deadlines for each application type are listed below.

Western Carolina University will evaluate each undergraduate freshman application once your application, application fee and other required documents (official transcripts, scores, etc.) have been received by the Office of Admission. August 1: Fall and Summer applications open.

November 1: Freshman student application deadline for Spring Term.

November 1: Freshman Early Action - Honors College Priority application deadline for Fall Term. Decisions will be mailed by December 15.

December 1: Freshman enrollment deposit ($300) deadline for Spring Term.

January 1: Financial aid deadline to apply for federal loans and need-based grants.

January 1: Priority Action Freshman - Financial Aid/Scholarship Priority application deadline for Fall Term. Decisions will be mailed by February 1.
