About Woodbury University
Woodbury University is a non-profit and private establishment. The institution was established in 1884 by entrepreneur and educator F.C. Woodbury. Started as Woodbury's Business College to grow the Los Angeles' flourishing business community. The college built its reputation at a rapid rate and was officially certified by the State of California In 1926 to proceed with undergraduate and graduate programs. After becoming a non-profit institute of higher education in 1972, the institution was given the status of Woodbury University in 1974.
Located in Burbank, the core campus is spread over an area of 22 acres in the heart of Los Angeles' creative market. Apart from this, the university has one more campud in the Barrio Logan area of San Diego.
The university is one of the oldest institutes of higher education on the west coast of the US and offers some of the latest facilities to its students. It offers on-campus housing choices to students by maintaining living preferences. Additionally, there are studios, educational support services, a café, computer labs, a campus library, staff offices, a fitness center, basketball courts, and a pool on the campus.
