Through studies in health sciences, biomedical science and exercise physiology, students develop a strong foundation in how the human body functions — from infection control and population health screening to the biological mechanisms that support wellbeing across the lifespan and exercise as a form of ‘medicine’. For students with an interest in human movement, physical activity and sport, pathways are available through Bond’s Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology.

Our health sciences, biomedical science and exercise physiology Bachelor programs provide a strong platform for further postgraduate study in allied health including nutrition and dietetics, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.

World-class health and science facilities span the Bond University campus and nearby Bond Institute of Health and Sport. These include anatomy, health science and sports science labs, simulated hospital wards, clinical skills rooms, a community allied health and wellness clinic, biomechanics lab, kitchen lab, work/play lab, rehab gym and the internationally-accredited and renowned High Performance Training Centre, which attracts elite athletes and teams from across the world.

Many of our programs provide opportunities for overseas study trips, rural, remote and international placements, First Nations cultural immersion experiences and participation in international industry and research conferences.
