The Study Abroad unit manages LSU's extensive education abroad programming. We offer LSU students opportunities to earn degree credit while studying in another country, and we partner with LSU faculty interested in launching new study abroad initiatives.
The Louisiana State University Office of Study Abroad follows the Forum's Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad, 6th Edition, to ensure we support high-quality study abroad programs.
A vital part of our team, our Peer Advisors are LSU students who many have experienced study abroad firsthand and are passionate about helping others do the same. They can guide you in finding the best program to fit your goals, interests, and degree requirements.You’ll often see them visiting classes, attending campus events, or welcoming students in our office, always ready to share their stories and help you plan your own adventure abroad! Provides overall leadership for and management of the Study Abroad office and develops, administers, and promotes study abroad opportunities.
Responsible for the oversight and success of LSU’s faculty-led program portfolio, to include recruitment, evaluation, and assessment.
